Both teams performed well this week against Ifield, the 1st XI were on course to chase down Ifields target, but had to settle for a draw, whereas the 2nd XI again didn't quite have the penetration to bowl Ifield 2s out, and claimed a winning draw. Outdoor Training Sessions and Nets will commence every Tuesday and Friday from 6pm.

The club is delighted to confirm its new overseas player for 2008 - Dammika Perera. Dammika is a very talented Sri Lankan quick bowler and middle order batsman. He has played first class cricket for a number of years - he has also played for the Sri Lankan A team and represented the Sri Lankan Development XI on tours to India and Bangladesh.

The Annual Golf Day was again a huge success and a good day had by all. Two club members Elliott Clarke and Adrian Harris performed well, coming 2nd and 3rd respectively in the individual awards. Thanks again to Andy Lee for organising the event and providing the raffle prizes.

The 2008 Tour to Bournemouth has been confirmed for three days from 15th - 17th July 2008 - there are limited places available. The total cost is £150 to include three matches, hotel bed and breakfast at the Ramada Encore in Bournemouth and all travel. Deposits of £75 required to Andy Lee or Andy McGregor by 31st March 2008.
